Start a crew, share a clubhouse, and win as a family.
A label is a crew with a name. Found one with friends or talk your way into one you like the look of, and your careers start pulling in the same direction. Joining is free, and your own songs and your own money stay yours.
The clubhouse
Every label has a headquarters, and what the crew wins together gets spent together: a better studio everybody records in, a bigger room to hang the gold records in, a logo, a banner, even a jingle. The look is yours to commission, and it shows up next to every member’s name on the charts.
The battles
Every few days your label lands on a bill against rival labels, and everything every member earns counts for the crew. Win the bill and the whole label feels it. Do it enough and you climb, from the underground scene through the indies to the majors, and the trophies you take on the way stay on the wall for good.
Bands
Three of you can form a band inside the label: one act, one name, writing and touring on its own schedule. You feed it songs you wrote, and what the band earns is on top of what each of you earns alone. It is the closest thing in the game to being in a garage with your friends.
Calling somebody out
A label can challenge a rival to meet them on the next bill, with something staked on it. It is the loudest thing a crew can do, and the story of the week whether you win or lose.
